Ingredients:

  • one packet instant yeast
  • four cups all purpose flour
  • 2 tsp sugar
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 2 cups lukewarm water

Preparation:

  • whisk together flour and
  • yeast, sugar, salt
  • add lukewarm water, combine
  • cover bowl and let stand in warm spot for 1.5 hours or
  • until dough doubles in size
  • after the dough doubled, I
  • scraped it away from the bowl
  • then poured it into the cast iron
  • pan. ensure the pan is seasoned
  • to avoid stickiness. I let the
  • dough sit, covered, another
  • 20-30 minutes. Then, I placed
  • it in a pre-heated 300-350
  • degreed oven for 30-35 minutes
  • until golden brown. Immediately,
  • I rubbed butter all over the
  • bread. Let cool, before slicing.
  • Once you slice it, you will taste
  • the delicious butter in every bite.
  • Be careful not to eat this bread
  • all at once.
