QUICK AND EASY MONKEY BREAD

INGREDIENTS

  • 24 oz dinner roll dough (frozen)
  • 1 cup brown sugar (packed)
  • 1(3/4) instant butter scotch pudding mix
  • 1/4 cup white sugar
  • 2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup walnuts (chopped)
  • 1/2 cup melted butter

Cooking Directions

  • The night before or several hours earlier, grease and flour
  • a 9″ or 10″ tube pan
  • Mix brown sugar and pudding mix together
  • Mix white sugar and cinnamon together
  • Place frozen dinner rolls in the pan a layer at a time
  • Sprinkle brown sugar and pudding mix over first layer of rolls
  • Sprinkle sugar and cinnamon mixture over brown sugar and pudding mixture
  • Spread half walnuts and melted butter over first layer
  • Repeat with the next layer
  • Place on counter overnight
DO NOT COVER
Next morning bake in a preheated 350 degrees oven over 30 minutes
Let stand a few minutes and turn pan over onto serving platter
**the day I went shopping, I cdn’t find dinner roll dough. So, I substituted it for pillsbury GRAND BISCUITS.
Two cans. I kept
them refrigerated until needed. Secondly, I cdn’t find INSTANT pudding.
I substituted it for regular. I microwaved it over four minutes, following the
box instructions. And refrigerated it overnight. I added the raisins and cranberries
to the layers for antioxidants, immune boosting and iron restoration.**
