1/3 cup of butter (cold)

3/4 cup of milk

cut in the cold butter until resembling small pieces

slowly add milk. more if needed for consistency
-
mix with fork until dough is slightly sticky
-
remove dough from bowl onto a floured surface
-
i covered my surface with wax paper, then dusted with flour for easy cleanup
-
knead and fold dough at least 10 times
-
i don’t have a ruler, so once folded, i used the heel of my hand to spread out the dough
-
until i felt it was thin enough. but it should be approximately one inch thick
-
i don’t have a biscuit cutter, so i used the mouth of a glass dipped in flour to
-
cut the dough
-
place biscuits in an ungreased dark pan or whatever pan you have
-
bake 12-15 minutes or until golden brown
-
i used a timer
-
once done, before they cool, spread butter on top of each biscuit
-
these go well with good jam or honey
